New looks from Four Hands, Sabai, Jenni Kayne and more

We’re only halfway through summer, but if the latest launches are any indication, the design world is already turning its attention toward fall. From chess piece–inspired side tables to trumpet-shaped pendant lights, here are 11 can’t-miss debuts from the past week.

Sabai introduced two new furniture lines, Evergreen and Elevate, into its portfolio of sustainably made offerings. The former features seating with sloped arms and minimalist silhouettes, while the latter offers a modern take on traditional farmhouse furnishings—all of which are made with nontoxic, vegan and eco-conscious materials, including recycled fabric, coconut fiber waste and all-natural hemp.

Four Hands showcased its latest collection at Las Vegas Market. The series spans 325 artisanally made, heirloom-quality pieces across a plethora of categories, including a Mongolian sheepskin–covered lounge chair with a sinuous cantilevered frame and a cognac-colored sofa swathed in horizontal leather channeling.

British wallpaper brand Graham & Brown released a trio of fresh designs into its coveted repertoire. Along with the shimmering, flora-and-fauna-themed Amherst’s Garden, additions include the botanical-patterned Obassia Silk and the tapestry-esque Hartley Damask.

Jenni Kayne dropped the August collection just ahead of fall. The launch comprises six coastal-style furniture and decor pieces composed of natural materials, such as table settings woven from braided raffia and the antique-inspired, boucle-clad Greenwich sofa and chair.

Tastemaker Julia Berolzheimer expanded her wildly popular collaboration with Pottery Barn and debuted a collection with Pottery Barn Kids. In addition to a pastel and ditsy floral-filled collection of child-friendly furnishings, introductions include everything from embroidered percale bed sheets to scalloped duvet covers, latticelike planters and paisley-patterned tablewares.

Lasvit’s Miles collection by Yabu Pushelberg made its stateside debut. First teased at Salone del Mobile in April, the line pays homage to jazz music with three cylindrical fluted lighting designs—including a table light, floor lamp and horizontal pendants—in various sizes that mimic the shapes of brass trumpets.

Industry West tapped Zio and Sons to create a line of super sleek outdoor furnishings. Composed entirely of weatherproof steel, the collection showcases six bentwood-esque designs with sinuous curves and slender silhouettes, such as the graphic Tivoli armchair and the French bistro–style Chatham round patio table.

Wolf rolled out the state-of-the-art Professional Induction Range. The clean-lined design comes equipped with a scratch-resistant ceramic glass surface; an integrated, full-color touchscreen control panel; and Wi-Fi–enabled features that allow users to preheat their ovens from their smartphones.

Pendleton introduced a fresh series of designs into its ongoing collaboration with Sunbrella. The exclusive collection draws from the palette of the mountain landscape and offers more than two dozen outdoor-ready upholstery designs, ranging from the striped Mojave Twill to the ombre-esque Juniper Mesa and the sunset-hued Pilot Rock.

Roche Bobois teamed up with Marcel Wanders on the Globe Trotter collection. A tribute to daydreamers and adventure-seekers, the series features over a dozen whimsical designs adorned in fantastical details, such as the iridescent-finished Chess tables, the super glossy Wonder wardrobe and the voluptuous, 1970s-style Montgolfiere bed.

National Geographic’s limited-edition collection for West Elm Kids is teeming with sophisticated escapism. The characterful selection spans 16 outer space– and dinosaur-themed children’s room pieces made from eco-minded materials, including a rocket-shaped floating shelf forged from FSC-certified lumber, a rug made from recycled plastic waste with a map of the solar system and stegosaurus-inspired mango wood wall hooks.
